Cultivating Growth: The Journey Continues
Our journey with the Growth Mindset initiative has been nothing short of inspirational. Since the inception of the Growth Mindset 'Train the Trainers' program in 2021, we've seen our staff evolve into true ambassadors of change. Their commitment is evident in how they voluntarily embrace training that not only enhances their own pedagogical approach but also ignites a passion for learning among students.
A number of “Growth Mindset” training sessions were delivered by our growth mindset ambassadors in various locations, i.e. YC Shanghai, YC Hong Kong, YC Yantai and YW Tongxiang. This year, by partnering with Jana van Zyl, we have incorporated growth mindset into YCYW Peer Mentorship Programme, and designed handy resources for teachers to use in peer mentoring sessions.
This synergy has enriched mentorship sessions across our schools, ensuring that the ethos of growth is woven into the very fabric of our educational experiences.
We acknowledge and celebrate the devotion of our staff who have made this possible, and invite our teachers involved in YCYW Peer Mentorship Programme to access these valuable resources here and join us in shaping an empowered, agile, and future-ready generation.
