Join us on Monday, 17th March from 3:45–4:45 PM for a dynamic professional development session designed specifically for educators. In this workshop, Dr. Kristie Craigen will lead a deep dive into the role of executive functions and share practical strategies to support students with ADHD.
Building on the foundation of previous PD sessions on executive functions, this session will provide:
In-depth exploration of how executive functions impact learning and behavior.
Actionable strategies tailored for educators to better support students with ADHD.
Opportunities to engage in interactive discussions and share best practices with colleagues.
This workshop is an excellent opportunity for teachers to enhance their understanding and classroom techniques to foster a more supportive learning environment for all students.
Speaker:
Dr. Kristie Craigen is the founder of Craigen Evaluations. She is a psychometric testing specialist and expert witness with almost two decades of assessment experience in clinical, educational, and organisational contexts. Since attaining her doctoral degree 10 years ago, her work has focused on the assessment and evaluation of children, adolescents, adults, and families who are experiencing behavioural, emotional, social, and/or academic difficulties often in the presence of complex family systems issues. In addition to her work as a clinician, Dr. Craigen is a child advocate and frequently assists the Courts in providing psychological evaluations and recommendations to assist with determining child custody and access arrangements.
