Career and Leadership Development

At YCYW, we believe in nurturing students as the change-makers of the world. We integrate career, university guidance, and student development into their growth journey. Recognizing the evolving career landscape of the 21st century, we assist upper primary and lower secondary students in building career and university competencies through assemblies and project-based learning. Career and university guidance counsellors introduce these concepts to students and parents, providing academic advising and IGCSE subject selection guidance.

Students can engage in structured and tiered leadership training. Starting in Year 6, students participate in leadership training based on the Compassionate Systems Framework. By Year 8, they join the Student Leadership Certificate Program, a three-tiered initiative offering consistent leadership development through external workshops and coaching, incorporating contemporary leadership practices and the YCYW 12 virtues.
