STEM+

The STEM+ Guide supports educators in creating interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary educational units, enhancing learning through science and technology. This guide is tailored for subjects including Science, IT and Computer Science, Design Technology, Design, Mathematics, and Entrepreneurship, integrating these fields to reflect real-world applications and contemporary educational standards.

The guide incorporates generative AI to assist teachers in curriculum design, linking key curriculum standards across YCYW subjects to develop key questions, content, skills, assessments, and learning experiences. It supports the construction of Project-Based Learning (PBL) and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) units, emphasizing hands-on, student-centred learning experiences that foster critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving. Additionally, it focuses on real-world learning experiences and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs), helping students understand the relevance of their studies in addressing global challenges and contributing to sustainable development.
